Welcome to the North Jersey Center for Urologic Care.
Dr. Gellman has been an established, practicing Pediatric and Adult urologist in Denville since 1974, and has been located at our present address for the past 10 years.
He is certified by the American Board of Urology, Inc. and holds fellowships in the American College of
Surgeons and International College of Surgeons. He is a member of numerous societies including the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine, Societe Internationale d’Urologie.
He has been a visiting professor in Cambodia and the Caribbean nation of Anguilla, where he is licensed to practice medicine.
The practice is primarily located at Saint Clare’s hospital in Denville and the Stone Center of New Jersey at The University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark.
Your First Appointment
On your initial visit, please be prepared to share your medical history with us.
This will include any medical conditions you have or may have had in the past, surgical history,
any medications you are currently taking and any allergies you have to medications or foods.
You will undergo a complete physical examination paying special attention to your genitourinary system.
A urine sample will be examined on your initial visit and all follow-up appointments.
Please arrive to your appointment 15 minutes in advance to complete necessary paperwork.
Please bring the following to your scheduled appointment:
- Your insurance card
- A list of current prescription and/or over-the-counter medications you are taking
(please include your dose and frequency)
- Pertinent information about your medical and surgical history
- Recent X-rays or other test results related to your condition

Insurance Information
North Jersey Center for Urologic Care, P.A., accepts most major insurance plans, however,
please call our office to verify that we still accept your insurance provider.
It is also in your best interest to check your insurance plan's provider list to be sure it permits you to be seen in our office.
Please be aware that your insurance provider may require a referral letter from your primary care provider.
It is the responsibility of the patient or guardian to pay any co-payments, and other charges not covered by your insurance provider.
Today, many insurance providers require pre-authorization, second surgical opinions, limitations on hospital days, etc.
Please review the rules and limitations of your coverage and inform our office of any restrictions.

Directions
From Route 80 (eastbound):
Exit Denville Route 46 East. At second traffic light (you have to be on the left side of the road), follow the signs into Denville Center.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto Diamond Spring Road.
At next traffic light, bear right onto Pocono Road.
Our office is the first building on the right.
Pull into the first driveway.
From Route 80 (westbound):
Exit Cherry Hill Road in Parsippany.
At the second traffic light, turn left onto Route 46 West.
At the second traffic light, turn right onto Boulevard in Mountain Lakes.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto Pocono Road.
Proceed about one mile and pass St. Clare's Hospital on your right.
Our office is at the end of Pocono Road.
Pull into the second driveway on the left.
